The best part about Tic Tac Toe is how simple it is to look at and yet requires a quick brain to win. While most games of Tic Tac Toe end in a draw, there is always a chance of outwitting the opponent and scoring a sweet victory. The game remains faithful to the original and has the most basic of graphics. However, playing the flash game does give the obvious advantage of not havingto draw the lines over and over again!

Gameplay

 

The idea behind Tic Tac Toe is very simple. There are four lines drawn on a sheet of paper. Two lines run parallel to each other and the other two intersect them while running parallel as well.

 

• One player takes the cross and the other takes a circle.

 

• Players take turns one after the other. The first one to play can be chosen between players.

 

• Each player has the objective of trying to put three of their symbols in a row. The rows can be straight and diagonal both.

 

• The game ends when there is no possibility of a row being created by both of the players.

 

It might seem like one of the simplest games, but there is a strategy to be followed in order to win. Most often, the player that starts has a slight advantage, but that can be taken away by the second player. Getting one symbol in the middle is always helpful in Tic Tac Toe.

 

Although Tic Tac Toe is typically a two player game, one can play the online flash version with the computer. It has both the single player and two player mode available. However, players must be warned that intense games of Tic Tac Toe have been known to affect even the best of friendships for a long time to come.
